Furious sequel getting crowded
Hey Fools! I know, I know, how can I tear Twilight apart and be so nice to the Fast & Furious franchise?!? What can I say, I like Justin Lin's style (if you haven't yet, give Better Luck Tomorrow a try) and their just plain dumb good fun.
On the heels of a first look at the cast and set and an announcement that confirms Dwayne Johnson is on board comes a rounding-up of the Fast Five cast to give the film a villain, a love interest and one more returning character.
Variety announced the casting of go-to Spaniard bad guy Joaquin de Almeida as the pieces villainous drug cartel boss, while Elsa Pataky (Give 'em Hell Malone) will heat things up for Vinnie boy. Along for the ride will be Matt Schulze who occupied the first film as gang member Vince. Hopefully all those good people will help make this one as much a success as the previous for Lin, 'cause Uni is already prepared to greenlight a 6th round if it is.
