Trailer: The Town
Looks as good as it sounded!
Hey Fools! I've been waiting a while to finally get a glance at this one's trailer, and I gotta say I am NOT disappointed AT ALL! The flick is called The Town, based on a Chuck Hogan novel, and is the sophomore directing effort of one Ben Affleck. You know, Damon's pal who was big for a while then the whole J-Lo/Gigli thing happened. Ben did the wise in laying low for a couple of years, then came out quietly with the amazing Gone Baby Gone; this one seems to confirm the previous wasn't just a fluke.
Affleck got himself surrounded by an incredible cast that includes Mad Men's Jon Hamm, Oscar darling Jeremy Renner, Pete Postlewaite, Gossip Girl's Blake Lively and Chris Cooper. The story follows a bank robber romancing one of his victims while an obsessed FBI man breaths down his neck. I'll risk getting skinned alive here but I feel it might become this decade's Heat.
Film comes out September 10 (already on my calendar) and that trailer is right down there.
