Goyer back in Gotham
FINALLY an actual Bat-3 development?
First of all, I DO wanna do the hula and party 'till I'm purple at the news of actual movement on a third bat-Nolan film, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, Fools. This here isn't exactly confirmation that Nolan will return, just that something IS being done about the damn thing!
Deadline Hollywood have been following up on the recent news that David Goyer left his showrunner duties on ABC's Flashforward; Easy to miss is their mention that Goyer is now writing the third Batman installment with Chris Nolan's brother Jonah.
A quick double-check with the strongly sourced boys of Batman on Film shows they feel the same way I do - that Goyer and Nolan's bro have always been contracted for a third Bat-film so no actual confirmation here; their original pitch was for a trilogy with The Joker returning in part 3, something that sadly won't happen - and Nolan confirmed he wouldn't recast . Question now is are they currently working on it, as in YES the film is happening and Nolan will return?
